Hey guys,
Does anyone have a suggestion for a great vegan shampoo and/or conditioner for dry hair? I've been switching around and trying various things (usually I come back to Desert Essence or Aveda) but I have yet to find something that really makes my dry hair fabulous and shiny. I was looking around on Ebay and other websites but some of the brands that sound good I don't trust to be vegan). I'd love for my hair to be less frizzy etc. Any thoughts would be great. I'm a yoga teacher so I have to shampoo almost every day to keep from being sweaty. thanks!

I've had good luck with Kiss My Face's Big Body shampoo and conditioner.  http://www.kissmyface.com/haircarepages/haircarepage.html

Until I became broke and switched back to Trader Joe's $3/bottle shampoo and conditioner (which works great but contains parabens) I was in love with Aubrey Organics shampoo and conditioner.  I especially like the J.A.Y. shampoo (contains some desert herbs) and the Honeysuckle Rose conditioner--this stuff is SO thick and rich (think the viscosity of toothpaste, without the stickiness or grittiness...)

I, too, have dry hair and experimented with a ton of different vegan shampoos and conditioners and was continually disappointed.  That's definitely my first choice.  It tends to cost about $10/bottle.

That's what I use, too!    LOVE IT.  I also love that it's a "mainstream" brand, yet it says right on the label that it is "100% Vegan."  All of the styling products are fantastic, as well.  (A little spendy, though.)

I have thick highlighted shoulder hair and use David Babaii for Wildaid. I love it. You can find it on Amazon and at Sally Beauty Supply. It has the cute Cruelty Free rabbit on the back. I always love to educate the employees working in the stores. I usually say "Wow - This product has a the rabbit on the back!" and then I follow up with "Did you know.....? " They always look so surprised and start looking at other products. I use the conditioner as well.
