Am I the last to taste the new Daiya cheese? OMG Even my co-workers (non-vegan) have decided they love the vegan pizza from Whole Foods better than anything they have ever had. Turns out, they started using the Daiya cheese and it has just totally transformed the taste of pizza, at least that is what my friends and I think. Can't buy it on the shelf, just in the deli section by the pound. Comes already shredded. You can get it online too from Daiya foods, the mozzarella style or cheddar. ZPizza also uses it now too. It also freezes great. For me it was another great find. Many people probably know about it but I just couldn't contain my enthusiasm!  . |

No, you aren't the last! I haven't had it yet.
I was at Whole Foods this past Tuesday and made a mental note to check it out. Of course, "mental note" was my first mistake...unless it's on my grocery list, I won't remember it. So, I left WF minus the Daiya cheese.
I'd LOVE to try it though. I make my own pizzas at home, and while I enjoy my cheeseless version, I sure wouldn't mind adding some vegan cheeses. My Lasagna could use cheese too.
